Ozford Facilities

MODERN CLASSROOMS
Students have access to excellent facilities including modern classrooms, featuring the latest fittings and furnishings, including resources such as TVs, DVD players, computers and data projectors.

Our Lonsdale Campus has recently been refurbished and offers classrooms with access to natural light.

CAMPUSES
La Trobe, Lonsdale and Swanston campuses are located in Melbourne CBD, which is accessible by many forms of public transport. They are all within walking distance to train stations, trams and bus stops.

Students will enjoy the convenience of shopping centres, cafes and accommodation facilities within walking distance.

COMPUTER LABS
At Ozford we have 6 computer labs available for classes and for students to use in their free time. In addition we have 1 specialised IT lab for IT courses. We provide high speed internet connection and all students are given a computer account, email address and free downloads of up to 60MB per month.

There are computer labs at each campus with the latest software packages, including: Macromedia, MYOB, Adobe and Maya. Data projectors are installed in all computer labs and all classrooms are fitted with network data connections. Located at each campus are photocopiers that students and staff can access via individual swipe cards

STUDENT SERVICES DESK
Students Services Officers are located at all Campuses.

Please feel to ask at our front desks for any help or make general enquiries about directions, public transport and otherservices available.We are here to help students not only with their studies, but also other aspects of living in Australia.

LIBRARY
Ozford offers a library with a wide range of materials to suit our students’ needs.
We also provide a range of newspapers daily and a variety of magazines.
In the Ozford library you will find a quite study area for students, a careers section and endless resources for study. Available for loan are recreational reading material, magazines, DVD’s and board games.

HAIRDRESSING SALON
Ozford’s hairdressing courses are offered at our own Hair Salon. Students can enjoy professional and comprehensive training in a relaxed and fun environment. Ozford’s Hair Salon opens to the public and all are welcome to make appointments.

The Salon is staffed by students who serve public clients under the supervision of qualified teachers. The Hair Salon offers a wide variety of treatments which serve as valuable, real-world experience for the students, giving them an opportunity to develop confidence by putting their theoretical knowledge into practice.

Ozford Cookery Facilities - Ozford Junction

KITCHENS
Ozford has its own training kitchens close to Central Melbourne. Our kitchens are all functioning commercial kitchens. At our new Cafe, “Ozford Junction Cafe,” students are able to benefit from on-the-job training. The cafe offers students a brand new fitted out kitchen to use their theory and practical skills in a “real life” situation.

The cafe offers an outdoor courtyard and large indoor seated area. Students will be able to gain the skills and knowledge required to work in the areas of hospitality and retail operations.
